Joys of Joyce

The good thing about being away from the computer is that there's more excitement than usual when you finally turn it on and check emails. I got this one which is truly heart warming. Thanks to Joyce Mora who gave me permission to post her joys (shared through email) here.

hi tlw,
my morale and confidence zoomed up when i read "true love weds". just to give you a little background. i broke up w/ my boyfriend almost 3 months ago. i'm in my early 30's now. born catholic. i find your book very enlightening & inspiring as well. i can very much relate to grace. Her story made me realize that nothing is really impossible with God. thanks to tlw, i don't have to remain clueless about God's plan for me. I believe in the importance of waiting for the marriage before having sex and the value of knowing God's will. thank God i was able to hold on to my values to this day. i want to remain pure for my husband on our honeymoon. this book really gives me a lot of reasons to smile, because after reading it from cover to cover, feel renewed, motivated, and confident about my self-worth. it helped me become more in touch w/ my inner self... For I am convinced that TRUE LOVE waits.

I'm confident that one day, God will give me the right man sooner than i expect.i believe that everything happens for a reason and everything will work out together to ultimately fulfill God's plans in our lives. when i accidentally got this copy from powerbooks, i felt as though God coached me on what to do when i was feeling lonely and sad at that time.it has given me a lot of ideas about how to know if the man was the one for me.

thanks for praying for me in advance...

more power & God bless!

keep in touch,

In Durian Land

The reason for the long silence was because my husband, our little boy wonder and I moved down to Durian Land. What land? Well, it's that place in the southern Philippines were birds fly freely (the Philippine Eagle's home), where food smells like hell but tastes like heaven (durian), where beautiful and rare flora grow (waling-waling), where there's refreshing coastlines and resorts (Pearl Farm and Samal Island to say the least), and a breathtaking mountain peak (Mt. Apo, the highest in the country). Yes, we moved to Davao City almost a month ago and we're making a nice little home here. So, that means True Love Weds has also landed in Durian Land!!! (I've checked and it's already at the National Bookstore in SM City Davao.)
